Thanks for the sheet. It mentions maybe a firewall issue prevents it from loading data. As far as I can tell, I didn\'t get any alerts. Maybe Kaspersky (internet security) doesn\'t like it.

Downloaded and ran eTikr. It was \"unable to access the data feed\", I looked at my firewall settings etc but couldn\'t make it work so I can\'t give the add-in a good review.

My etikr give me an "invalid symbol" message when I enter the symbols; AFC, AKF, and AWP. These symbols are traded on the NYSE and I can get them from every online portfolio tracker and stock quote service.AFC is a Senior Note from the Allied Capital Corp (ALD).AKF is a structured product of Ambac Financial Group (ABK).AWP is Alpine Global Premier Properties Fund.How can I get these publicaly traded NYSE symbols to appear on the eTikr site. Thanks for the pains u have taken. I want to download historical stock prices of all stocks in a single file such that each day\'s history is available for all the stocks in a single row.This is required for my thesis work. I am a Prof. in Computer Sc. & Engg. at IES, IPS Academy.

Historical Minute Data After downloading and installing the trial version I was unable to retrieve minute history data although the help file and web site indicated this should be possible.Could someonf please clarify what the situation is?Thanks!

Useful end of day price retriever I downloaded this app to see if I could use it to conveniently download end of day stock quotes. Creating a ticker list is easy, especially if you already have one. This application was very quick in retrieving the information into various formats. Some were much quicker than others. I processed over 12,000 tickers using the prn format in quick order.One caveat is that you must be careful with certain tickers. For example, my ticker list included hub.b which is hub-b in the Databull database. Thus, no quote could be found for hub.b. In addition, hub.b did ...

To much money for delayed quotes. If it was real time it would be worth it.

This is a good Ticker. This stock ticker application is the best one I have used. The features are right on the money. I feel every stock invester should have one on his desktop and this one should be it. Thank Tonny.

A very well made software. I liked the way it displays charts and graphs to study the market.

review 20080812 I used it for a few minutes and I found it a bit cumbersome.1. It was not so clear where the data was going to endup. I opted to put in a blank worksheet and manually move it.2. I wanted the data in yearly increments but monthly was the closest.3. The install brought a lot of other software other than "DownloaderXL"4. When symbols are not found it brings in "0.00" a more controllable environment should be offered. Such as: a. if symbol not found Do I create a worksheet" b. What do I use for data not found "a black", a 0.00, ...

Outdated and never Updated I bought this some time ago, and it has some very obvious errors and flaws in the way it works. These have never been addressed and no new version has ever appeared and there is no answer from biu software. Now even the so called "free" price updates seems to have failed and still no answer from the company. My opinion is use something else or waste your money!
